We were super excited to attend the launch of the Rochford Concert Lounge, which delivers high quality live music shows in an intimate setting. Rochford is of course already renowned for hosting major music events such as the upcoming shows by Elton John, A-ha and Rob Thomas. If you also enjoy your music in a more intimate setting, along with the option to taste some great local wines and fabulous Italian food by 400 Gradi, then a visit to the Concert Lounge is a must!
Live music at the launch was provided by Miss Lizzy & The Night Owls, an explosive modern Melbourne band with 60’s influences both musically and aesthetically. The band covered a mix of rock and soul classics together with their own original compositions. The blistering boogie woogie jam session was sensational and Miss Lizzy (aka Lizzy McFarlane) has an incredibly soulful and powerful voice, an absolute treat to hear her sing!
The Concert Lounge is also the home of 400 Gradi, offering authentic Neapolitan cuisine with a hint of Melbourne. Home to the award-winning margherita pizza and oh-so-sweet pizze dolce. Where the pizza is baked to 400 degrees and eating dessert first is never frowned upon. A place where fine Italian dining meets a stellar drinks menu, and the chefs can be heard cracking a few punny pizza jokes from the kitchen.
